In an exclusive video for LosingWeight.com, Scola tells us her weight loss story.
Video Summary
Scola’s starting weight was 186 pounds. After increasing her physical exercise coupled with smaller food portions, she dropped down to 140 pounds, totaling a 46 pound weight loss.
According to Scola, her life has changed for the better because of her weight loss. She describes herself as a much happier and confident person.
Scola does admit that staying on track was an arduous task as school and life got in the way. Because of this, her weight came off in a 13 month time span – noting that 20 pounds came off in the first two months of her weight loss journey.
Fashion and the idea of accomplishment are the two reasons that motivated Scola to lose weight. At the age of 15, she said that losing the weight was her biggest achievement ever.
Scola said that dancing is her favorite exercise for a number of reasons: 1.) because it burns many calories 2.) because it is a good stress reliever 3.) because it is fun.
She mentioned that sugar cravings are rare for her; although, she does confess to snacking on sweets from the sweet shop in the past.
One of Scola’s irresistible foods is bread but not just any kind. The bread serving must be a thick, white slice, spread with butter. For her, a cup of tea pairs nicely with bread and butter. She has now switched to eating brown bread in moderation but admits to occasionally treating herself.
In Scola’s words, losing weight is “worth it,” she said. “You just have to keep going, [and as a result] you become a happier and more confident person because you achieved something so great that it’s all so worth it.”
