Vinegar is great for a lot of things such as cleaning water spots on your windows, removing odor from your carpets and making some of your favorite foods taste even better. But there are some people that believe vinegar will clean your system. So what’s the truth? Does vinegar clean your system?
It depends on the right type of vinegar according to nutritionists. Most say that apple cider vinegar is the best. It’s not a magical cure for ridding the body of toxins, but it does help the body digest toxins by enhancing the body’s ability to rid toxins through good digestion. And you don’t need much to do it. Experts recommend adding 1-2 tablespoons to a tall glass of water and consuming it.
Nutritionists say it works because it balances out the acid levels in the stomach. Our stomachs need a certain amount of acid in them to work right. People can upset the digestive system by taking too many antacids, which throws off the entire digestive system including the large intestine, small intestine and colon.
There are also persistent rumors that vinegar will help rid the narcotic ingredient in marijuana called THC. Many people say you can clean your system of THC in 24-48 hours by consuming large amounts of apple vinegar. This is nothing but a rumor and has no truth to it.
