McDonalds Chicken McNuggets are tasty little morsels of white meat chicken covered in a crisp golden batter. Most people consider them to be by far the tastiest nuggets sold by fast food chains including Wendys, Burger King, and Carls Jr. But most of the time being the tastiest also means the unhealthiest and the highest number of calories. So how many calories in McDonalds chicken nuggets are there?
The answer is 47 calories per nugget. Of course that's going to vary slightly depending on size, but you can count on eating nearly 50 calories for every little nugget you enjoy. That's quite a bit considering their small size. McDonalds nuggets come in 6, 10, and 20 piece combinations.
A six piece, based upon our figure of 47 calories per nugget, is equal to 282 calories. And that doesn't count the soda, fries, and condiments. A 10 piece nugget is going to set you back a whopping 470 calories. So whats a 20 piece nugget going to run? You guessed it 940 calories!
Each golden little nugget has three grams of fat as well. So that means a 6, 10 and 20 piece are going to have 18, 30 and 60 grams of fat respectively. And you thought chicken nuggets were healthier because they're chicken didn't you?
That doesn't mean you should avoid chicken nuggets, but make sure you eat them as part of a treat or cheat meal.
